Troubleshoot Safari Montage Media Player Issues

Here are some steps to take to assist with troubleshooting the Safari Montage Media Player (SMMP).

  1. Does your computer meet the system requirements?  Double check QuickTime, very important!
  2. After you log into your Safari Montage server does it tell you to install the SMMP?
  3. Can you view a regular .mov file?  Search you computer or the internet for a .mov file.  This tests that QuickTime is the default media player for .mov files on your computer.
  4. Try a different browser - install FireFox if you haven't done so already.
  5. Visit Safari Montage's Support site to install the latest SMMP.
  6. If that does not work please create a ticket and we can assist.
